Facing the complicated situation of Covid-19 epidemic around the world, the General Director of Airport Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has instructed its airports to continue implementing the following contents:
- Coordinating with defense units (military zones, military command committees of provinces / cities), governor’s authorities (customs authorities, border police, medical quarantine, airport authorities) deploy measures to prevent epidemics in the process of serving passengers returning from foreign countries (especially in epidemic countries) at the request of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and the direction of the Prime Minister.

- For the convenient of the isolation, prevention and controlling of the infection, it is suggested that all the airports should assign officers in charge to coordinate with the Local Medical Quarantine Centers to make daily reports of all passengers who are travelling from epidemic countries or suspected passengers who are showing the signs of Covid-19 epidemic need to declare the medical form and isolated immediately (including flight number, number of medical isolation passengers, number of passengers suspected infection, places of isolation passengers or hospitals...).

- Working preparation to ensure public security and logistics (provide free services to all passengers such as foods, drinks, hot water or milk ...) while all the passengers are waiting to do the medical declaration and for the transferring to the medical isolation area.
- To support all the requirements materials for this epidemic prevention, all the airports actively supply to employees such as gloves, hand sanitizers, disinfectant ..., (ACV will only provide medical protective clothes) and coordinates with the Health Quarantine Center to equip the medical protective clothes for workers who involved directly of picking up passengers from the epidemic area.
- Actively monitor Notam, flights schedules from Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam and coordinate with all Airlines, governor’s authorities at the airports, Department of Health, and all the units of the Ministry of Defense to update and inform about the mobilization of forces and equipments to manage all the emergencies immediately.
- Continuously to implement the contents under the instructions, official documents from the Government, ministries, CAAV, ACV about the prevention of Covid-19 epidemic.
- About all other difficulty issues, please immediately report to the Airport Corporation Department for processing and settlement.
