The Awards Ceremony honored exemplary architectural works that have left a profound mark on the nation's development trajectory, among which the "Passenger Terminal T2 - Phu Bai International Airport" architectural work was distinguished with two award categories: the prestigious Gold Award in the Special Architectural Works category and the "For the Development of Architecture" Award.
After one month of operation, Passenger Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport has achieved significant initial milestones in passenger facilitation and has notably contributed to alleviating operational pressure on pre-existing Terminal 1.

On May 13, 2025, a pivotal meeting took place at the headquarters of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) between ACV and IC ICTAS, the lead contractor of Package 5.10 – Passenger Terminal. The meeting focused on enhancing coordination and identifying optimal solutions to expedite the progress of Phase 1 of the Long Thanh International Airport Project. The goal is to substantially complete construction by the end of 2025 and commence commercial operations in the first half of 2026, as directed by the Prime Minister.
