The inaugural ceremony marking the reopening of the route was attended by Mr. Ho Minh Tan, Deputy General Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam; Mr. Marc Evans Knapper, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam; representatives from the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City; and senior officials from functional units including the Immigration Police, Customs Department, Southern Airports Authority, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Saigon Ground Services Company (SAGS), and the Executive Board of United Airlines.

The inaugural flight was warmly welcomed with the traditional water cannon salute, accompanied by a flute performance to greet passengers. This thoughtful preparation and ceremonial reception demonstrated the Airport’s commitment to supporting international airlines in achieving safe, efficient operations while maintaining high service quality and enhancing the passenger experience.
