On April 16, 2021, at Ha Noi capital, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and Viettel Group signed an MOU on information technology solutions in the aviation sector.

The cooperation aims to exploit and enhance both parties’ strengths and potentials as well as co-develop operational activities on the basis of their competencies and business strategies.

ACV and Viettel will jointly apply several information technology solutions in the aviation sector in order for cost – effectiveness, operational efficiency, customer experience enhancement, information security, digitizing operations and productivity improvement. In addition, it will facilitate a reciprocal exchange of experiences in implementing IT solutions and fruitfully contribute to the development of both corporates.

According to the agreement, the cooperation includes but is not limited to a comprehensive digital transformation consultant; cyber-security and reputation management; centralized airport information control center; terminal services such as non-stop automatic toll collections at ACV’s airports, integrated solutions, etc.; digital payment; logistic and data center. In addition, Viettel will participate in the site check process of Long Thanh international airport project to consult about solutions for IT application.
