Cam Ranh international airport will abolish certain types of announcements made via its loudspeakers in an effort to reduce noise and to increase the service quality at domestic terminal from November 16, 2020

In lieu of announcement, flight information will be displayed by Flight Information Display system (FIDS) inside the terminal. The FIDS has been upgraded by the airport to ensure a timely and accurate demonstration.

The airport encourages passengers regularly scan the FIDS to ensure to be at the gate on time, avoiding missing the flight. However, some information still to be relayed through speakers such as emergencies, lost and found children and passports, flight delays, gate changes and belt changes, etc.

All notices related to discontinue public announcement at domestic terminal from November 16, 2020 have been published via variable news and media channels by Cam Ranh international airport.

During the transition, ground staffs at the terminal will regularly support and guide passengers, especially for some passengers who are not familiar with the Flight Information Display system.

Several airports around the world and also Vietnam have already adopted this silent airport concept to reduce noises and unnecessary disruptions to passengers.
