The nomination of Mr. Hung, one of the ACV’s Board of Directors as an ACI Asia-Pacific Board member has contributed to boost the prestige and position of ACV and the Vietnam aviation industry in the region’s and the world aviation industries.
The ACI Asia-Pacific, a trade association representing 623 airports from 47 countries/ territories, speaking for airports’ interest with governments and international organizations such as ICAO, IATA, WHO, WTO, etc. as well as developing standards, policies and recommended practice for airports.
At the ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly taking place in Kobe, Japan in May, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung was elected to be an ACI Asia-Pacific Board member with 3-year term. The ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Board is the governing body of ACI Asia-Pacific. It provides strategic direction to ACI Asia-Pacific in its advocacy efforts, programs and activities within the region. The twenty-seven member Regional Board is made up of senior executives from airports throughout Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
In addition to a regular member of ACI Asia-Pacific since 2012, the nomination of Mr. Hung is a good chance for ACV to connect, share and learn about management experiences together with improving standards of construction, management and operation with other ACI members worldwide.
ACV has transformed and developed in recent years to integrate with the world as the principal airport operator of Vietnam's airport system. Furthermore, one of ACV's long-term development goals is to enhance business cooperation relations and brand promotion.
Along with the constant efforts of all employees and staff, ACV will continuously establish long-term relationships with ACI airport members as well as update aviation trends and policies around the world. Moreover, this is a great opportunity for ACV to promote the global integration and put ACV brand on the global aviation map.
