The promotional cooperation program between ACV and IIAC is the first program implemented between ACV and sister airports. The initiative has achieved initial effectiveness and has made a practical contribution to promoting the image of tourism, culture, and people between the two countries. Images of famous tourist destinations in Vietnam, associated with the airport system under ACV, have been transmitted to passengers at Incheon International Airport and vice versa.

According to market analysis from IIAC, Vietnam is currently one of the most attractive travel destinations for South Koreans, especially Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, and Nha Trang. According to ACV's statistics, in the first 6 months of 2024, 100% of international passengers at Lien Khuong International Airport and 50% of international passengers at Phu Quoc International Airport were from South Korea. Recognizing the strong travel demand between the two countries, ACV and IIAC decided to continue implementing the second phase of the cooperation program with more content and activities to promote images and tourism.

ACV’s delegation visited and surveyed the terminal and airside area of IIAC. Representatives from the leadership of ACV's international airports, including Lien Khuong, Phu Bai, Can Tho and Vinh, presented an introduction to the affiliated airlines, infrastructure systems, and service quality at the airport. This is an opportunity for airports to learn from each other, exchange experiences, improve service quality, optimize operational processes to enhance passenger experience, and promote the opening of more flight routes between Vietnam and South Korea. In addition, the ACV delegation also had a visit and working session with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism’s Representative Office in South Korea.

The efforts to promote the image of the country, its people, and tourist destinations by the two entities will continue to create practical values, contributing to the enhancement of cultural and economic connections between Vietnam and South Korea. With a commitment to long-term and sustainable cooperation, ACV and IIAC will continuously enhance service quality and passenger experience, while also opening up new opportunities for the aviation industry in the region
