From June 17 to 19, 2025, a group of delegation from the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) attended the 156th Slot Conference, organized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Vancouver, Canada.

The Slot Conference is a global forum that brings together aviation industry product research companies, international airlines, and slot coordinators from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) and various airports. At this event, precise information on the capacity of each airport is provided to help optimize flight schedules. The event is not only an opportunity for ACV to promote the image of Vietnam's airports to international friends but also a chance to learn from the management, operational, and exploitation experiences of airport partners. Furthermore, it serves as an occasion to access and update on advanced technologies and expand the potential for developing the flight network to Vietnam.

Several meetings to introduce Vietnam's airports

In the context of Vietnam's continuously growing aviation market, international airlines are increasingly interested in expanding their operations and improving management capabilities at the country's major international airports, including Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Noi Bai International Airport, and Da Nang International Airport. Concurrently, the latest updates regarding Long Thanh International Airport and other airport infrastructure expansion projects are drawing significant attention from airlines and strategic partners.

ACV's participation in the Slot Conference demonstrates its efforts to affirm its position as a leading airport operator in the region. It is also a valuable opportunity to promote the image of Vietnamese airports to the international community, attracting more new routes and airlines, thereby contributing to the development of the domestic aviation industry.
