APEA 2023 marks the 6th consecutive year that ACV has won in the Corporate Excellence Award Category

Currently, ACV is operating under the form of parent-subsidiaries enterprise with 95.4% state owned shares and responsible for the business of 22 airports across Vietnam, including 9 international airports and 13 domestic airports. For many years, the company constantly strives to fulfil its leading role in airport infrastructure investment, operation, and management - consistently maintain a high and sustainable growth rate along with absolute safety and security in airports and service quality for all customers, contributing to socio-economic development and national defence.

In parallel with the sustainable growth in business, ACV also aims for sustainable development through a variety of initiatives that uplift the society, particularly future generations, ensuring social security and welfare. Last year, ACV spent a total of 8.6 billion VND on charitable and social activities including giving gifts to patients with severe diseases, visiting the nation's heroes, martyrs, and wounded soldiers; participating in voluntary blood donation programs; constructing social housing in remote areas, etc.

The first half of 2023 continues to witness the recovery of the aviation industry, recording positive growth not only in the domestic aviation market but also in the international market, ensuring aviation security and safety – one of the most crucial priorities at ACV. In the first six months of 2023, ACV has ensured the absolute security and safety of 56.8 million passengers, including nearly 15 million international passengers (increased by more than 493% over the same period in 2022) and 42.2 million domestic passengers; the safe movement of 365 thousand flights; the handling of 580.5 thousand tons of cargo, including 410 thousand tons of international cargo and 170.5 thousand tons of domestic cargo.

Additionally, ACV advocates in building and organising an increasingly standardised and professional aviation security control system; cooperating closely with airlines and related units to develop commercial activities, thereby serves as a starting point for the restoration and expansion of the international flight network, promote investment in aviation and tourism infrastructure with the aim of sharing and supporting mutual development, improve service quality and capacity to meet the high travel demand of domestic and international passengers.

Regarding strategic approaches in the near future, ACV is determined to continue to improve and enhance service quality at its airports. With the aim of developing Smart airport for all under-managed airports, ACV has been initially implemented the process of centralising data digitization in the domains of aeronautical and non-aeronautical activities using cutting-edge technologies such as contactless technology, biometric application, and powered-AI system for vehicles and utilities in airports’ terminals, from check-in procedures to boarding gates,… which enhance convenience and comfort for passengers, thereby enhancing their experience when using services at airports.

The passenger terminal T2 at Phu Bai International Airport is ACV’s 1st passenger terminal to apply the digital transformation

Furthermore, the implementation of the Airport Collaborative Decision-Making (A-CDM) pilot program at ACV's two biggest international airports - Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai is an initial success of the company in the process of applying it throughout Vietnam's airports. With A-CDM, not only passengers can expect better airport experience but also leads to cost savings and more efficient flight operations, including the process of handling luggage and cargo.

ACV recently has been committing all of its resources to the implementation of numerous major projects, especially the success of the ceremony of three bidding packages under the company’s two biggest construction projects - Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1 and Passenger Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat International Airport which was held on August 31st, 2023; together with projects to repair and upgrade the infrastructure of numerous other existing airports. With a positive outlook for the future, ACV is ready to offer better services for domestic customers while also reserving and facilitating promising international destinations, making Vietnam's aviation industry even more vibrant and adaptable. All in all, ACV is committed to “Connecting you, moving you forward and serving you nonstop”.
