As part of the visit and working program from August 21-24, 2024 in Vietnam, the delegation from Beijing Daxing International Airport (BDIA) led by Mr. Ma Yin, Vice President of BDIA, and Mr. Mou Jianliang, Vice President of Technology Management Company Limited of Capital Airports Holdings – the parent company of BDIA to meet with the leaders of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) at ACV headquarters on August 21, 2024. The delegation comprised members of senior and managerial positions at BDIA’s Procurement & Project Management as well as Technology Departments.
The meeting was attended by key representatives from ACV, including Chairman of the Board of Directors Lai Xuan Thanh, Deputy General Director Nguyen Duc Hung, Deputy General Director Nguyen Cao Cuong, and leaders, specialists from the Corporation's functional departments and units.

At the meeting, the delegation from BDIA expressed gratitude to ACV’s Board of Directors for the gracious reception of the visit. In response, Mr. Lai Xuan Thanh, ACV’s Chairman of the Board of Directors also expressed appreciation to the delegation from BDIA in return. The visit aligns with the principles outlined in the sister airport agreement that was agreed by both parties during the initial meeting at Beijing, China, on the 25th of March 2024.
In addition, Chairman Lai Xuan Thanh also shared relevant information of several key projects and initiatives that ACV is now undertaking, plus those that ACV intends to prioritise in the upcoming time. According to Mr. Thanh, the visit of BDIA this time holds significant importance, affirming the long-term cooperative relationship between the two parties, hence facilitating the advancement of future development initiatives.

Representatives from ACV and BDIA also covered a technology conference, engaged in deliberations, shared and exchanged both sides’ expertise in the areas of airport operation and management. From dynamic discussions to valuable sharings, the exchange was truly enriching. Furthermore, delegates from BDIA also shared their practical experience regarding the importance of incorporating science and technology in various aspects of air traffic control, aviation operations, as well as in daily professional tasks of employees. These contributions aimed to enhance productivity and optimise operational efficiency within the unit.

On the same day, the BDIA delegation conducted a visit and working session with Long Thanh International Airport's Project Management Unit, exchanging and discussing potential areas for future cooperation and sightseeing the construction site of the airport.
