On September 26th 2020, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) honorably won Top 20 Vietnam Famous Trademark 2020, an award of Vietnam Selection Competitive and Famous Trademarks 2020 program nominated by Vietnam Intellectual Property Association (VIPA) at Hanoi Capital.

The Vietnam Selection Competitive and Famous Trademarks 2020 program organized by VIPA annually from 2006 is a trustworthy and prestigious nomination nationwide.
All participated trademark of products and services are workably competitive and outstanding in the market. During the past 14 years, hundreds of brands were noticed as competitive and famous trademarks thanks to the transparent, fair and rigorous assessment created by leading experts from authorities and related departments who implement the enforcement of intellectual property right. This year marks the 15th ceremony of The Vietnam Selection Competitive and Famous Trademarks program with 107 honor brands and ACV earns the Top 20 Vietnam Famous Trademark Award.
ACV is now investing, operating and managing 22 airports nationwide including 9 international airports and 13 domestic one. Recently, ACV has steadily remained the effective development and sustainability in business activities, have absolutely ensured the aviation safety and security and service quality also.
In 2019, ACV’s airports handled more than 116 million passengers, a 12% increase from 2018 in which it reached 41.7 million international passengers and 74.3 million domestic passengers; 1,541 million tons of cargo were recorded, increasing by 2.1% compared to the previous year and ACV facilitated its airports to accommodate 748,395 aircraft movements reaching over 107.9% of the year plan and marked an increase of 14.8% from the 2018.
ACV’s service quality has been gradually improved especially at major airports such as Tan Son Nhat int’l airport, Noi Bai int’l airport and Da Nang int’l airport. In 2020, Noi Bai int’l airport won Top 100 The World Best Airport Award for five consecutive years and Da Nang int’l airport was nominated as Top 10 World Improved Airport Award.
From the beginning of 2020 until now and amid the severe growing of COVID-19, ACV has drastically implemented numerous measures to prevent and control the pandemic according to directions of the Government, the National Steering Committee for Disease Control, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam in order to assure the safety and healthy for all its employees and passengers.
Airports has closely coordinated with airlines and related units to apply the code of safe practices during COVID-19 and safety operation procedure for aviation passengers during COVID-19, to create the trust for passenger in aviation services, and together with the whole country actively achieve the “dual goals” of the Government including pandemic elimination and national social-economic development.
