From November 30 to December 2, 2022, ACV had the opportunity of reuniting with significant global airports leaders from the Region and beyond at the AOT Sister Airports CEO Forum 2022 held by Airports of Thailand (AOT). Mr. Nguyen Quoc Phuong, Executive Vice President of ACV, and other representatives from functional departments, Tan Son Nhat and Noi Bai international airports represented ACV at this momentous occasion.

The AOT Sister Airports CEO Forum 2022 was welcomed the attendance of ICAO Asia – Pacific, ACI Asia – Pacific, Flughafen Munchen GmbH, Narita International airport, Airports of Laos, Pioneer Aerodrome Service & Yangon Aerodrome Company limited, Kansai International airport, iGA Havalimaini Isletmesi A.S, Incheon International Airport and ACV.

The AOT Sister Airports CEO Forum is held every two years, and this year's event, themed "Resilience, Reunion, and Reinventing for Aviation Sustainability," provided a face-to-face opportunity for high-level executives from the sister airports to exchange knowledge, experiences, and outlooks on the aviation industry trends post COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on all segments of the industry, as well as necessary changes that need to be made.

Regarding the forum's keywords, ‘Resilience’ is the speedy recovery of the aviation industry that enables the stakeholders in this business to resume normal operations; ‘Reunion’ is the return of the aviation industry's stakeholders to collaborate in order to assure the smooth resumption of normal operations; and, ‘Reinventing’ is the adoption of innovation and technology to develop the organization across all dimensions, to provide better care for passengers, to increase convenience and speed, to reduce contacts and to correspond to the New Normal Travel.

During the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Phuong – Executive Vice President of ACV, engaged in panel discussions with airports leaders on two topics: 'Airport Business Transformation for Resilience and Sustainability' and 'Advanced Technology as a Driver of Business Success and Seamless'. ACV stressed the utmost significance of digital transformation and information readiness, which offer several breakthroughs and numerous advantageous possibilities for the advancement and implementation of information technology.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Phuong, Executive Vice President of ACV gave a speech at the AOT Sister Airports Forum 2022 

On this occasion, ACV and AOT hold an Executive meeting to discuss the plan for ACV and AOT cooperation in the upcoming year. From 2016 to 2018, the two Corporations collaborated closely to conduct three Executive meetings between ACV and AOT as well as eight specialized seminars, surveys, and experience exchanges, six of which were held in Vietnam. In response to the challenging scenario posed by the Covid-19 epidemic, the two governments imposed travel restrictions from 2019 to 2021, which had a direct impact on AOT and ACV's collaboration. The two corporations have always actively communicated information, remained in communication, and given frequent updates on the status of operations, pandemic preventive measures, and jointly supported airlines and other stakeholders for the resumption of flight routes and operational activities.
