ACV’s employees attempt to implement Covid-19 prevention with the spirit of “Chống dịch như chống giặc”
ACV estimated that the passenger volume through its airports in 2020 will drop by 40% compared to 2019. International passengers will decrease by 70%. Accordingly, the profit is expected to decrease by 10 trillion dong compared to 2019 due to the effect of pandemic.
ACV decided to reduce fees for a range of airline services at airport despite difficulties
In order to share difficulties with airlines, ACV decided to reduce various services fee for all airlines including international and domestic airlines applied from March 1st, 2020 to the end of August, 2020. Those services consist service fee for aircraft navigation (cut by 50%); pipe ladder service, carousel rentals, automatic baggage handling, check-in counters and ground services (by 10%). Additionally, waiving office rental fees for airlines that have stopped flying, and reduce fees by 30 per cent fees for airlines that are still operating flights.
For non-aeronautical services, ACV is discussing some supportive offers base on the current situations.
