From March 25-27, 2025, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) made a prominent mark at the IASEA 2025 Conference in Singapore. The delegation, led by Mr. Vu The Phiet, Chairman of ACV, along with Mr. Nguyen Tien Viet, Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong, Deputy General Director, and other key personnel from ACV and our airports.

Themed “Airport Operations for Tomorrow,” the conference brought together over 4,000 top aviation experts and industry leaders across the region. It served as a vital platform for groundbreaking discussions and innovation and technology solutions to position Asian airports for a sustainable growth.

Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong, Deputy General Director of ACV, delivered a compelling opening speech, highlighting ACV’s strategic priorities: “Under the direction of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, ACV's delegation at this expo is actively seeking high-quality, potential partners in technology, equipment, and airport operations to collaborate in accelerating the completion of Long Thanh, ensuring it meets the highest international standards. This show is not only a valuable opportunity for ACV to explore cutting-edge technologies and advanced management models but also a chance for all of us to discuss strategies for the collective growth of airport networks in Southeast Asia.”

At the conference, ACV unveiled our ambitious 2030-2050 Vietnam Airport Development masterplan, with an investment of USD 16.4 billion, focusing on developing new airports, improving Air Traffic Management Systems, MRO centres in strategic airports, improving cargo handling capabilities and establishing training centres. By 2050, at least 95% of the population will be within 100km of an airport, further driving growth in air travel.
