On Dec 10, 2020, in Ha Noi, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) was awarded “Top 15 listed companies with the best business performance for 3 consecutive years” under the corporates performance assessment program named “Vietnam the best company”. ACV has been granted this award for the third year in a row, reaffirming the reputation, credibility, and sustainable development of the corporate.

The Vietnam Best Company hosted by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in cooperation with the Institute of Business Studies and Development (INBUS), the Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA), the Vietnam Association Corporate Directors (VACD). This year, VCCI awarded certificates of merit for the Top 15 listed companies with the best business performance for 3 consecutive years and Top 50 listed companies with the highest competitiveness in 2019.
As an annual program since 2013, Vietnam the Best Company evaluates 21 financial criteria related to every business aspect of nearly 1,560 companies operating in 32 different economic sectors and are listed in 3 largest Vietnam’s stock markets including HOSE, UpCoM, and HNX in 2019. All registered companies have to prove their financial capacity compliance with provincial governance index, revenue, degree of financial leverage, payment index, operating profit margin, business performance index, capital adequacy ratio…
The Vietnam Best Company provides an important analysis, assessment, and rating to help companies understand the “health” of their finance, thereby deploying appropriate solutions for the next stage of development. This is also the evaluation of business capacity that supports partners, credit institutions, domestic and foreign investors to make effective investment decisions.
Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Vu Tien Loc opined at the ceremony: “Enterprises honored this time are not only those with the best financial capability but also the best in terms of corporate governance, market share, revenue, and stability development.”
ACV is now investing, managing, and operating 22 airports across Vietnam, including 9 international and 13 domestic airports. Over the years, ACV has constantly maintained the high growth rate of business performance, ensure the absolute safety and security as well as passenger experience with higher quality and efficiency, that actively contributes to the socio-economic development and national defense.
From the beginning of 2020 up to now, in the situation of Covid-19 epidemic outbreak, ACV has drastically taken various measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 according to the directions of the Government, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to assure the safety and health for all of its employees/aviation personnel and air passengers.
Airports have cooperated closely with airlines and other related agencies to apply the Aviation Health Safety Protocol and the Safety Operation Procedure for passengers in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic, building trust for air passengers. In addition, it makes a positive contribution to achieving the dual goals of the Vietnamese Government, which includes repelling the Covid-19 pandemic and developing the socio-economic in the current context.
ACV has accelerated key projects such as the construction project on Passenger Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport; The expansion project on passenger Terminal T2 and a new apron at Noi Bai International Airport; The construction project on Passenger Terminal T2 at Phu Bai International Airport and other apron expansion projects at high-frequency operation airports namely Noi Bai International Airport, Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Da Nang International Airport, Cam Ranh International Airport, Lien Khuong Airport, Cat Bi International Airport, Vinh international Airport, Phu Bai International Airport. ACV has concentrated all resources to speed up the first phase of the Long Thanh International Airport project to ensure its operation in 2025.
