On 16th May 2016, the inspection team of CAAV, PMU of ACV and constructors evaluated the first phase of apron expansion project of Phu Bai International Airport.

Apron expansion project of Phu Bai International Airport was begun construction on 27th February 2016 to increase from 06 aircraft parking stands for A320, A321 and similar types of aircraft to 08 aircraft parking stands. After nearly 3-month construction, the items have almost finished.

According to the plan, the first phase of apron expansion project of Phu Bai Int’l airport will put into operation on 26th May 2016, 20 days prior to the planned schedule.

During the construction time, the contractor always complies with Decree No.46/2015/NĐ-CP dated 12th May 2015 of the Government  on quality control and maintenance of construction works and the approved designs; acceptance and as-built document is completed in pace with construction phases.

Project management unit and constructor always attach special importance to aviation safety and security, labor safety; improve the training, inspection, disseminate safety – security provisions; cooperate with Security Division of Phu Bai Int’l Airport, local security force and troops being stationed nearby the construction site.
