Pursuant to directives of Phu Quoc Provincial People’s Committee, Phu Quoc Medical Center has coordinated with Phu Quoc international airport to organize the vaccination against Covid-19 phase 1 for 252 airport’s employees from May 04 to May 05, 2021. Those vaccinee are 211 people including frontline employees who directly contact with passengers, luggage and cargo and about 41 indirect staffs.

In order to ensure the safety of vaccination, Phu Quoc international airport has coordinated with Phu Quoc Medical Center to organize pre-checkup to select qualified people to participate the programme, and to follow-up for post-injection response with necessary first aid facilities.

Phu Quoc international airport will continue to register and vaccinate for the remaining staffs in the near future.

The vaccination against Covid-19 for employees is such a crucial activity, fulfilling the mission of safety health protection for airport’s employee as well as remarkably contributing to the Covid-19 control and prevention duty of Phu Quoc City, enhancing passenger confidence to travel.
