Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) have just singed the Regulation on cooperation which determines principles, cooperative aspects and responsibilities of both Parties to ensure safety and security as well as improve operational efficiency at ACV’s airports and VATM’s relevant units. 

Regulation on Cooperation to ensure safety and security as well as operational efficiency at airports.

The objectives are to define core principles and cooperative aspects as a legal basis for VATM’s related units and ACV’s airports to negotiate coordination regulations and cooperation contracts, to ensure the absolute safety in ground control and operation, to improve the instant communication, accurate data exchange and effective cooperation in term of sharing facilities and resources for the sake of tackling problems and difficulties in operational activities at airports.

Cooperation principles: ACV and VATM agreed on general principles in coordination between both Parties so as to assure the absolute safety in aviation activities and to comprehensively support other units on duty. Both corporations promptly and accurately collaborate to solve problems under each’s powers, functions and duties without any effects to their professionalism, in addition, strictly obey regulatory relating to airport operational management and air traffic services.

Cooperation aspects: Providing necessary information to define the operational capacity of each airport; Exchanging experiences in managerial activities at airports; Collaborating airport decision making; Investing and managing facilities, infrastructures, technology and software related to operational activities; Constructing, improving and maintaining infrastructure at air field; Protecting the environment; Asking for approval of sharing radio network for communication; Updating and revising data system with regard to operation, training, safety and security assurance at airports, fire protection, disaster prevention, search and rescue, emergency practices; Reporting and evaluating runway situation; and Compromising principle of providing services between ACV and  VATM.

This regulation is applied for departments from ACV and VATM that are collaborating in operation, providing services at airports, relevant units and individuals.
