Ho Chi Minh City, November 6, 2024 – The second day of the Trinity Forum 2024, distinguished guests were drawn into a series of illuminating dialogues that resonated deeply with this year’s guiding theme “Driving Innovation to Remain Relevant Within an Evolving Consumer Landscape”, presented and updated valuable perspectives for the distinguished audience.
The day commenced with remarks from Mr. Paul Griffiths – CEO of Dubai Airports, who underscored the supreme significance of adopting a customer-centric ethos as a cornerstone of the aviation sector. His insights set the stage for a subsequent panel discussion, “Taking Customer Service to New Heights,” conducted by Ms. Aude Ferrand – CEO of TAV Operation Services and Chief Commercial Officer of TAV Airports Holding. Ms. Ferrand delved into a spectrum of refined strategies aimed at elevating the quality of customer service, with a keen focus on enriching the airport experience.
Additionally, Mr. Andrew Ford – CEO of ANARA Group shared insights into how the group is building commercial value within airport retail through the topic “ACI ANARA – a Unique Global Platform for Value Generation,” along with other distinguished speakers, such as: Mr. Vikas Gupta – CEO of GrayMatter Software, Mr. Stephen Hay of Airport Dimensions, Ms. Tracy Ross from ARI Middle East, and Ms. Isabel Zarza from Avolta, which garnered significant interest and learning from attendees.
Following this, a series of discussions unfolded, showcasing an array of esteemed experts, including Mr. Ramesh Cidambi – Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, and Mr. Patrick Coveney – Group Chief Executive of SSP, further delved into strategies to captivate the rapidly expanding passenger demographic, with a particular emphasis on Gen Z and Millennials – the retail sector’s primary future consumers with the topic “How to Keep Pace with or Supersede Passenger Traffic Growth.”
Further sessions on “Finding the Sweet Spots Across All Consumer Demographics” and “Future Proofing the Travel Retail Opportunity” provided illuminating perspectives and the latest advancements on sustainable development trajectories within the travel retail sector.

In the afternoon session, renowned global retail experts, along with distinguished representatives from subsidiaries of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), including Mr. Le Dai Duong – Manager of Planning & Investment at SASCO, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan – Deputy Director of Noi Bai International Airport; discussed together with Mr. Phillip Nguyen – CEO of IPP Group on the topic of the fast-evolving aviation and tourist industries of Vietnam.
Notably, in Noi Bai International Airport’s presentation, Mrs. Ngan outlined strategic development goals and highlighted emerging consumer trends, all aimed at cultivating a green, pristine, and sustainable airport environment. Noi Bai International Airport aspires to achieve 4- to 5-star status, embracing contemporary consumer trends such as intentional consumption and online shopping. To elevate the passenger experience, the airport is deploying advanced technologies, including biometric recognition, the A-CDM system, one-touch processing with automated gates for immigration and boarding, along with cashless payment solutions and automated services like vending machines, information kiosks, and smart maps.
