Skytrax, a United Kingdom-based consultancy specializing in airline and airport quality ratings, has officially released the result of the world’s top airport rankings 2024. ACV's two airports, Noi Bai International Airport and Da Nang International Airport are honored on this list, accordingly ranked 96th - jumped 31 places for Noi Bai International Airport while Da Nang moved up 17 places to 94th in the ranking compared to 2023.

Skytrax's ranking is based on the feedback of millions of passengers from more than 100 countries on a variety of specific criterias such as the quality of services at international passenger terminals, convenience, comfort, language ability, workers service attitude, etc. While Da Nang International Airport is rated for the first time, it is a record sixth time in addition to being in the "World’s Top 100 Airports" for Noi Bai International Airport.

In recent years, both international airports have made consistent efforts to enhance service quality and ensure excellent passenger services. In particular, Noi Bai International Airport has taken a number of initiatives, including strengthening coordinated management by incorporating operating units into the A-CDM model. Information technology solutions are increasingly being used to address the issue of overcrowded terminals. Non-aviation firms and taxi organizations must demonstrate a commitment to sustaining service quality and face severe penalties for any violations. The airport also implements techniques to improve customer services and collect passenger’s feedback.

Noi Bai International Airport also executes a variety of programs to enhance the cultural and environmental landscape, such as organizing “Flavors of Hanoi - Huong sac Ha Noi” cultural week and spring welcome festivities for travelers passing through the airport during Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024; reviewing and adding various convenient services such as phone charging, free Wi-Fi, email, children's play area, childcare area; ensuring infrastructure for individuals with disabilities; and constantly improving the frontline’s service attitude, etc.

In line with Noi Bai’s initiatives, Da Nang International Airport is also committed and strived to improve service quality and create more added value to passengers. The airport has made huge efforts to improve infrastructure, offer new amenities, and at the same time provide opportunities for employee development to enhance the overall passenger experience.

Additionally, the airport continues to prioritize the promotion of Vietnamese culture by providing resources to facilitate the placement of miniatures representing local characters, setting and adding traditional elements into artistic performances such as the “Heritage Road - Con duong di san” arts programme.

Da Nang International Passenger Terminal is the 1st and only passenger terminal in Vietnam to achieve 5-star rating under Skystrax’s criteria

On January 1, 2024, Da Nang International Passenger Terminal became the first and only terminal in Vietnam to gain a 5-star rating under Skytrax's criteria. This success was the result of continued efforts to improve facilities and passenger convenience. In accordance with the result, Skystrax places high value on amenities including business class lounges, baby strollers, children's play areas, mother and baby rooms, shopping carts, prayer rooms, and DIY counters. Furthermore, they value procedures, self-baggage counters, automatic immigration gates, and automatic departure gates. Notably, Da Nang International Airport was named one of the 'Top 10 most improved airports in the world' according to Skytrax's 2020 review and voting.

Finally, the main objective of these programs is to ensure a better experience for passengers at airport terminals, and adhere to worldwide aviation industry standards.
