At 10:35 am on January 1st, 2022, the flight no. VN110 of Vietnam Airlines took off from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City and successfully landed at Danang International Airport, marking the beginning of a new year 2022 with many new opportunities and successes.
Joining this atmosphere, Danang International Airport has coordinated with Danang Department of Tourism and Vietnam Airlines to hold a ceremony to welcome 184 passengers on flight VN110 to visit the City.
In the bustling spring atmosphere, the drums performed joyfully at the ceremony, the passengers received flowers, souvenirs, masks and publications with warmest new year wishes. Three lucky guests has received 03 gift tickets for round-trip flights of Vietnam Airlines.
Aviation industry in 2021 in general and Danang International Airport in particular faces more further difficulties amid Covid 19 pandemic. As the outbreaks under control, domestic flights have been restored from October 10th, 2021. According to the operation plan from January 1st, 2022, the airline will have more than 630 flights per week to and from Da Nang, operating 08 domestic routes including: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Buon Ma Thuot, Hai Phong, Can Tho.
In the priority of safety, convenience and highest quality to passengers, flight crews and employees, in 2021, Danang International Airport invested and upgraded various major categories to improve service quality, while maintaining effective epidemic prevention and control. The airport has the renewed AHA certification for one more year from December 4th, 2021, and continues to implement the Green Corridors program to ensure the safe operation of aviation operations in the "new normal" conditions.
