Implementing Plan No. 4636/CHKQTDN - DHSB on November 25, 2024 in order to Examining the area of responsibility to serve airport emergency work, the Da Nang International Airport Survey Team has coordinated with other relevant local agencies and units organize field surveys of key in Son Tra areas, Da Nang city. This is an important annual activity, aimed at checking and assessing the condition of emergency vehicles and equipments, also assessing the terrain as well as the ability to be ready to respond and effectively handle emergency situations occurring in civil aviation activities.
Survey Team moved on winding roads to evaluate the accessibility of Search and Rescue vehicles.
The survey team conducted a detailed inspection of the roads leading into this area, from flat residential areas to rugged mountainous terrain. In particular, important routes such as from Thuan Phuoc bridge to Ban Co top were thoroughly examining by the team to determine the accessibility of rescue vehicles.

Along with the terrain examining, the survey team also tested Search and Rescue support equipment, including GPS, radio communication device, navigation systems and other communication tools.

After the Survey, the results show that most areas ensure good signals, capable of meeting requirements in emergency situations. In addition, Da Nang International Airport had a working session with the People's Committee of Tho Quang ward to consolidate the coordination plan in search and rescue acctivities. Both parties are agreed on multiple important contents such as updating the contact information list, establishing a hotline and assigning initial handling tasks when incidents occur. Local government authorities also committed to supporting forces and vehicles, closely coordinating with search and rescue forces, ensuring the safety for the area as well as protecting the scene during incident occurs. At the same time, conducting risk prevention measures such as using drones, flying kites or strong lighting in air zones have also been disseminated to the community to minimize risks to ensure aviation safety environment.
