In the early morning of January 23th, 2020, Starlux Airlines flight no. JX701 departing from Taipei at 07:40 am (local time) landed at Danang International Airport at 9:40 am on the same day. This is the first non-stop flight from Taipei to Danang operated by Starlux Airlines. Attending the welcome ceremony were representatives of Danang Tourism Department, Danang Center for Tourism Promotion and media agencies.

More than 170 passengers on flight no. JX701 of Starlux Airlines from Taipei were delighted with the warm welcome of the delegates, joining the Spring 2020 atmosphere at Danang International Terminal.

In the Southeast Asian market, StarLux Airlines operates the advanced Airbus A321neo aircraft with comfortable seats, modern personal inflight entertainment system and more exquisite services. From 2022, the airline expects to launch transatlantic flights to North America.

Currently, Vietjet Air and Eva Air have operated the Taipei - Danang route with a frequency of 01 flight per day, Far Eastern Airways and Jetstar Pacific Airlines with a frequency of 04 flights per week. Entering the new year of 2020, passengers in Danang in particular and the Central Highlands region in general have more options to go to Taipei with 02 flights per week of StarLux Airlines, contributing to the increase of Danang – Taipei flight frequency to 20 flights per week.

With the above flight schedules, it creates easier and more convenient opportunities for Danang travelers to connect to cities in the US, Canada and Europe and other new attractive destinations.
