On September 6th, 2020, the Ministry of Transport instructed relevant agencies to inform enterprises that all passenger transportation can resume operations after the pandemic has been brought under control in Danang. Danang International Airport in collaboration with domestic airlines quickly prepare flight plans as follows:

- 7th Sep – 10th Sep, 2020: 02 flights / day (01 HAN and 01 SGN)
- 11th Sep – 15th Sep, 2020: 04 flights / day (02 HAN and 02 SGN)
- 16th Sep – 30th Sep, 2020: 06 flights / day (03 HAN and 03 SGN)
• Vietjet Air:
- 8th Sep, 2020: 03 flights / day (01 HAN and 02 SGN)
- 9th Sep – 11th Sep, 2020: 02 flights / day (01 HAN and 01 SGN)
• Bamboo airline:
- 8th Sep – 10th Sep, 2020: 01 flight / day (01 HAN)
- From 10th Sep, 2020: 03 flights / day (02 HAN and 01 SGN)
• Pacific Airlines:
- From 10th Sep, 2020: 01 flight / day (01 SGN)
Danang International Airport strictly follows rules and regulations prescribed by the Government, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and Airports Corporation of Vietnam in accordance with pandemic control and prevention measures, safety airport operational procedures and code of safe practices in COVID-19 in order to ensure the health of passengers and employees.
Danang International Airport constantly disinfects all public areas inside terminals, takes passenger temperature, sets up sanitized booths at the entrance of terminals and security checkpoints, controls the implementation regarding to physical distancing as well as wearing mask and medical declaration. In addition, all passengers who using smartphone are encouraged to install Bluezone APP to quickly detect people who are likely to be infected.
Airlines implement distancing flight seats, strictly follow safety procedures and comprehensive prevention standards, spray disinfectants aircrafts and all equipment, additionally, equip protective cloth for flight crews. Passengers have to declare medical forms, take body temperature before boarding and wear mask during the flights.
During the quarantine period in the city, Danang International Airport has still continued to complete investment categories such as constructing car park barrier and reversing toll collection to be ready for reopening and improving the customer service quality.
