The water stations are strategically located in eight areas of Terminal 1, with six positioned in the departure lounge and two in the arrival area. Utilizing advanced Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) filtration combined with Ozone (O3) and Ultraviolet (U.V.) sterilization, the stations provide passenger pure drinking water that meets the bottled water standards set by the Ministry of Health.
A notable feature of these stations is their automated filtration system, ensuring a continuous supply of fresh water. Each station includes 3 dispensing options: 1 automatic bottle-filling section and 2 direct drinking faucets at varying heights, accommodating all passengers—including those with limited mobility.
The water filtration technology employed guarantees that the water meets AOI standards, with a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level approximate 0, indicating minimal dissolved solids, and no from heavy metals, chlorine, fluoride, and other harmful impurities. With a pH of approximately 7.0, it aligns with World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations for water used for infants, preserving both nutrients and natural flavor. This enhancement not only benefits travelers at Da Nang International Airport but also fosters a healthy habit of drinking clean water, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
