In order to meet the increasing travel demand between the two destinations, Tigerair Taiwan has officially launched its first route from Taoyuan to Danang from 24th December, 2022 with a frequency of 2 flights/week. Danang City becomes the 14th destination being served by the airline at the present time.

The welcoming ceremony of Tigerair Taiwan is organised at 06:40pm on 24th Dec, 2022 at Danang International Terminal. The first flight no.IT552 brings 108 passengers from Taipei to Danang in just about 3 hours.

The first flight is welcomed with a customary water cannon salute. Besides, the event gives passengers a deep impression of the hospitality and warmth of Danang’s people with flowers, souvenirs and publications of the City. We hope that they will have unforgettable memmories and enjoyable experiences when coming to Danang.

Currently, passengers from Danang have more chances to travel to Taiwan by flying to Taoyuan with 2-3 flights/day operated by 3 international airlines including Tigerair Taiwan, Starlux and EvaAir. Tigerair Taiwan plans to open new route from Kaoshiung (Taiwan's second largest city) to Danang with 1-2 flights/week.
